Learn how to identify local amphibians in Clark County. Char Corkran, co-author of Amphibians of Oregon, Washington, & British Columbia, gives a presentation about our native amphibians, where to find them, and some simple things you can do to help amphibians in your backyard.

About our Presenter

Portland-area naturalist and wildlife consultant Char Corkran helped found the Northwest Ecological Research Institute in 1985 and still serves on the Board. She co-authored Amphibians of Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia with Chris Thoms. Char is an avid amphibian surveyor, birder, and hiker, as well as a writer and photographer.
